WOW! It's been waaay too long since I've seen work from you. This is a complete treat for the eyes, Lauren! It has a gorgeously grim fairy tale feel to it... with all those cheery kittens and the little girl dancing around the fire like that.

The sepia tone is a brilliant choice for this scene, and I love your use of perspective and light (those shadows at the kittens' feet - again, wow). Acrylics, I assume? :)

Morbid as it is, I love the boy's expression, too.
